Located just 30 seconds away from Oyu Onsen, a symbol of Nozawa Onsen Village. It is also easy to access all the other 13 hot springs on foot.

It is a short 5-minute walk from the Chuo bus terminal, the main stop in Nozawa Onsen where the Nozawa Onsen Liner arrives and departs.

Tanuki Luxury Apartment is ideal for guests who enjoy skiing with access to the Hikage slopes via a moving walkway (Yu Road) only a 5-minute walk away. Tanuki has a shared indoor drying room and ski storage. Our friendly staff can also help organize lift tickets and ski rental.

Luxury apartments are located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the main building and annexe, and each unit has a kitchen, a living/dining space, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

There are three types of apartments available: 4 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom apartments, and studio apartments, so you can choose the type that best suits your needs, including the number of guests and length of stay.

Breakfast is available at the cafe on the 1st floor of the main building. Choose from one of the many delicious options from the breakfast menu. (For guests staying in 2 or 4-bedroom apartments, only breakfast on the first day is included in the room rate.)

Tanuki also has a Teppanyaki restaurant (winter only), a Cafe & Restaurant and a Bar for your enjoyment. There are also many restaurants and bars in the village within walking distance.
